Why a Rose?

The rose variety is called Julia's Rose. It is a rare rose with a charming mixture of cinnamon and copper colours. After Julia died, her aunt and uncle, Jeanette and Charlie, found the variety and we planted it during a simple remembrance ceremony on their estate, Ravara in Ballygowan, Northern Ireland where it has continued to grow and thrive.

Julia spent many happy summer holidays on the estate and even had her first paying job, potting plants for the Ravara nursery.
